My Reflection 

I have been learning to write a fractured fairy tale using what I have learned about narrative structures and features. My  fractured fairy tale was based on snow white. I'm most proud of my pixel art. My next step is to make my beginning by adding more detail.

i have been learning to identify conman themes in fairy and fractured tails . We read tow narratives called red riding hod and into the forest. A common theme I made from these stories was  they both had a red cote. I found this easy because all you had to do is the different parts of the store My next steps is to make it more difficult.

Maori God Art

This is my Maori god art. we read a myth called In The Beginning. I drew Tangaroa and used some adjectives to describe him. I enjoyed this activity.

I have been learning to skim and scam non-fiction texts to find and summaries information.  we read a story about white-tailed spiders.  we had to find facts from the texts and summaries them.  I found this easy because all you have to do is work out the questions.  My next steps are to keep learning skimming and skimming.

I have been learning to make 10 to solve simple addition problems.  I found this easy because all you have to do is work out it.  My next steps is to use this strategy to solve harder problems.

We have been learning about the structure and order of writing an explanation. We had to put the piece of writing in the correct order. I found this easy because all yo have to do is read the boxes and pop them in order.My next steps is to write my own explanation.

We have been learning to solve multiplication problems with arrays.  I found this easy because I know 4+5=20. My next steps is to learn my times tables off by heart.

I have been learning to find and summaries information in non-fiction text .
I found this tricky because you have to find out information on from some stuff. I found this work interesting because  you can find out stuff you don´t know abut and you can learn.  My next steps are to use better search words when i look for information on the internet.

Softball Skills

Yesterday we had soft boll skills. I went all around the circle and I got 4 points. I had so much fun there.  i hope i do that again. the end!

Welcome to my Year 4 learning blog.  This year I am in room 12 and my teacher is Mrs Melville.  I enjoy learning at school.  This year I am looking forward to maths.  I hope will enjoy my blog and leave lots of feedback.
